Staff Bios
Doug received his Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University in May of 2005. He is currently enrolled in the Richard Stockton State College of New Jersey earning his teaching certificate to pursue his dream of teaching. Doug has directed shows with the Margate Players since 2003- these shows include Footloose, Once Upon A Mattress and You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. He is currently directing Pippin and Into the Woods Jr. and looks forward to great productions from each cast. Doug is also a Senior Counselor at Susie and Dean's Performing Arts Camp in Margate. He is a proud co-founder of the Perry Award Nominated Margate Players and a freelance musician with his partner, Gina Lyn Liscio.
Gina Lyn is a graduating senior at Montclair State University, earning her degree in Music Education. As a percussionist, she has played such shows as Footloose, Once Upon A Mattress, Cinderella, the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Benefit Concert of Into the Woods and You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She had the honor of performing with the National University Wind Ensemble, live at Carnegie Hall in May 2003 and most recently with the Colonial Symphony (Morristown) in May 2005. Gina Lyn has musical directed Once On This Island Jr. and is currently working on Into the Woods Jr. She is also a Senior Counselor at Susie and Dean's Performing Arts Camp in Margate. Debbie is a graduate of the University of the Arts and studied with Frances Fanelli, Michael Stairs, and Andre Watts. She is the musical director for St. Augustine's Church and also the music teacher for St. Augustine's Catholic School. She is the accompanist for the Mainland Chorale Society and the Atlantic City High School Choir. Debbie has been the musical director for many musical and musical theater productions and has accompanied many instrumentalists and vocalists in the area. Debbie and her husband, Robert, enjoy their private music business, Good Shepherd Music, which allows them to teach private piano and guitar. Debbie and Robert live in Somers Point with their two children named Matthew and Daniel.
Jonathan is currently a full-time student at Atlantic Cape Community
College Majoring in English Education and working as a Personal Banker
with Bank Of America.He hopes to begin teaching sometime in the near
future. He is currently holding the position as Treasurer with the Perry
Award nominated Margate Players and enjoys being a part of the team.
Jonathan is not only a member of the Board but, has taken part in many
productions with Margate Players, including the 6 time Perry Award Nominated
cast of, "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," playing the role
of "Charlie Brown." You may have last seen him playing Frederick
Fellowes in the hit Comedy, "Noises Off !" Jonathan looks
foward to continuing with Margate Players in any upcoming Productions!
He is PROUD to be a part of such a close-bonded theater company as this
one!
